Do The Hue Shift, Baby!
I stumbled across an interesting article on the Lomo Magazine today that I definitely want to recommend to you. Check this out:
Since I’ve already taken quite a few photos with LomoChrome Turquoise film myself, I found the idea really interesting. Of course—I had to try it out right away :-)
As simple as the concept behind it is, I think the results you can achieve with it are all the more amazing. Of course, from a purist Lomographer’s perspective, this practice is a bit questionable. Is that even allowed? Is it still Lomography? Well—it just looks too good not to do it. And I thought to myself, “Where exactly in the 10 Golden Rules does it say I’m not allowed to edit my analog photos? If in doubt, check Rule Number 10—‘Don’t care about the rules.’”
So just go for it.
Personally, I'm really happy to be able to show off my “old” photos in a whole new light. It's a lot of fun, and to be honest, they're still analog photos. I'm definitely going to keep doing this, and if you want to check them out, here's a link to the album on my Lomohome:
There will certainly be more photos like this here in the near future. So stay tuned if you'd like.
